  4. When did you move into your house? May of 2005
  5. Brief Description of Home: 4 bed/2 bath, full walkout basement, Rock Combination
  6. Couple of things you wanted in a house? We were expecting our 2nd child and John offers a specialized floorplan with the nursery right off of the master bedroom. I also desperately wanted a full big bathtub.
  7. The Allen'sBest thing about your house: The big windows and molding.
  8. What was it like to go through the house-building project? Was there anything that scared you? It went very smooth and stress free. We could reach John with questions anytime.
  9. If you built the home, how long was the process? 2.5 months
  10. What makes your House a Home? Our family. We were renting before so having a house we own, in a nice family neighborhood with a huge backyard for the children’s swing sets really makes our house a home.
  11. What made you choose Hansman? We met John though a group of friends. We really liked our mutual friend’s house and liked John as a person. We were able to customize everything little detail except the floorplan.
  12. What advice would you give someone about building a house? Look for someone who is meticulous with details and that would be John. Look for a builder who isn’t interested in building 100’s of houses at one time but who has the time to talk and devote to you.

CLIENT: The Crouch’s

  3. Who lives with you in your house? My Husband and Son
  4. When did you move into your house? March 2006
  5. Brief Description of Home: Ranch Style with Open Floorplan
  6. Couple of things you wanted in a house? Design.
    Definitely having a builder that had the same taste as us. After looking at a lot of houses, we noticed that all of John's had a similar taste to what we were looking for. He has an awesome sense of taste and high quality.
  7. Best thing about your house: The very open floorplan and tall ceilings. It’s just so open.
  8. What was it like to go through the house-building project? Was there anything that scared you? With John it was pretty easy. We had confidence in John’s skills. The money was scary but he worked with our budget. I had pure confidence in John and his decisions. I love how he uses email. He’s super busy, we’re super busy- it’s just easier.
  9. The Crouch's If you built the home, how long was the process? 4-5 months . Started in November/December 2005.
  10. What makes your House a Home? Our huge yard! Most people have lots but we have 4 acres.
  11. What made you choose Hansman? We were going to build it ourselves but we didn’t have time. If I didn’t know John, just going around and seeing the homes he’s built, I would choose him anyway. He has a strong sense of design and quality.
  12. What advice would you give someone about building a house? Work out the money beforehand. Choose John! Make sure you get a builder you have confidence in.

CLIENT: The Stockman’s

  4. When did you move into your house? October 28,2005
  5. Brief Description of Home: Ranch, Walk Out, Partial Finished Basement, 5 bedroom, 3 bath, 3 car garage and a TV Room
  6. Couple of things you wanted in a house? Unfinished Basement, 3 car garage, lots of storage, jet tub, nice lot with trees and we wanted the house located on a cul-de-sac so it will be safer for the children.
  7. Best thing about your house: The Basement! We were crammed at our other house and there is a lot of storage.
  8. What was it like to go through the house-building project? Was there anything that scared you? You can get overwhelmed with choices but John was patient with Cabinet changes.
  9. If you built the home, how long was the process? Fast! John poured the foundation in August and we were in the house by October. The inspection was on time and there were no worries.
  10. What makes your House a Home? It’s a traditional style home and is really warm and cozy.
  11. What made you choose Hansman? We saw a house we really liked that John had entered in the Parade of Homes. It had a lot of storage and it was perfect for a growing family.
  12. What advice would you give someone about building a house? Don’t ever assume specific details. Ask a lot of questions and communicate clearly on what you want.

  3. Who lives with you in your house? My Husband and Children.
  4. When did you move into your house? December 19, 2005
  5. Brief Description of Home: 1 Story Brick Ranch, 3 car garage, Walkout basement, covered deck, 4 bedroom, 3 bath, and an added formal Family Room.
  6. Couple of things you wanted in a house? Open Kitchen, Dining Room, Covered Deck, and a Finished Basement that has lots of light and didn’t feel like a cave.
  7. Best thing about your house: The Floorplan
  8. What was it like to go through the house-building project? Was there anything that scared you? I felt like it wasn’t stressful. I was pregnant and working. John was open to new ideas and he is very creative! I’m still really surprised when I hear of friends that have had a bad time building a house because ours was very positive.
  9. The Rohrbach's If you built the home, how long was the process? They started digging on August 1st and we moved in on December 9th. We wanted to be moved in on time because I was pregnant and due.
  10. What makes your House a Home? Personal touches that we have picked out. We love our configured floor plan and we had a lot of say in it. Our house reflects our taste and our needs.
  11. What made you choose Hansman? We’re friends of John.
  12. What advice would you give someone about building a house? Too not be in a rush to sell your house. Enjoy the process.
